1. Turn OFF the device completely.
2. In the same time, press and hold Power button, Home button and Volume Up button for several seconds.
3. Release Power button only when Samsung logo appear on the screen.
4. Release the rest button when Android logo appear, the recovery menu will appear.
5. Choose “Wipe Data / Factory Reset” option using Volume button and Power button to select it.
6. Choose “Yes — delete all user data” to confirm the whole operation.
7. Select “Reboot System Now” when it has complete.

It’s a little bit complicated, but as long as you follow the guide, you will be all right:

1. Power OFF the phone.
2. Press and hold Power button and Volume Down button in the same time for several seconds.
3. Keep doing this until you see LG logo appear on the screen. When the logo is appear, release both buttons but for 1 seconds only.
4. Remember that release both buttons just for 1 seconds before you press and hold them once again.
5. When you do it right, the device will boot into Recovery Mode where you can see it on the screen and this is where you can release both buttons.
6. In recovery mode, you can navigate through the menu using Power Up and Down button.
7. Use those buttons to find and the highlight “Wipe Data / Factory Reset” option. Use Power button to make the selection.
8. Select the “Yes” option on the first dialog box and another dialog box will also show up to confirm your action. In the second dialog box, select “Yes” and let the factory reset process begin.
